"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle

Some of Aristotle's most potent work surrounds; Ethos, Pathos and Logos. Ethos, pertaining to an appeal to ethics, is used as a means of convincing an audience via the authority or credibility of the persuader, such as a celebrity. Pathos appealing to emotion, is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response to a convincing story. Logos pertaining to logic is a way of persuading an audience with reason, using facts and figures.

This Totem is a reminder that these aspects of life must be discerned during all interactions, a tool to see through and past possible motives of persuasion.  A reminder of the elements; Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Aether. These elements are the foundation of our waking world and we must respect them as such. Mother nature holds the keys to the universe and also holds the reigns of our destiny, such a strong force must be taken into consideration and honored daily.
