Dia de los muertos
Like the memory of a loved one that never fades, Dia de Los Muertos also survives. It may change and evolve, but it never vanishes. Started by the Aztecs some 3,000 years ago, this is a celebration of life, through death. The multi-day holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember those who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.
This Totem is a reminder of Memento Mori, live life to the fullest while there is still time. Take advantage and embrace the gifts we have, and give thanks to the afterlife- whatever it may look like.
